Tripp Lites RS-1215-RA Power Strip offers 15 amp capacity AC power distribution in a versatile multi-mount cabinet. Detachable mounting flanges are configurable for rackmount, wallmount and under-counter installation. Uses only 1 rack space (1U) when installed in any 19 inch rack meeting EIA standards. Unfiltered electrical pass-through makes RS-1215-RA ideal for distributing alternate waveform UPS or generator power in rack enclosures, network closets and more. Includes 12 NEMA5-15R outlets (6 front / 6 rear) placed at a right angle (with ground pin at bottom), 15 ft AC power cord and lighted switch with cover prevents risk of accidental turn-off.Offers multiple outlet power distribution for multiple loads in 19 inch rackmount, wallmount and under-counter applications, such as internetworking, PC systems, telecommunications, audio/video, security, sound reinforcement and more. Ideal for distribution of UPS, generator or commercially derived AC power to protected equipment.

Check! I need many low power outlets rather than a few high power outlets. Check! Why pay up to 50% more for 20amp model when 15amp model is more than enough. Check! Power should be unfiltered. Check! Cap over power switch is nice touch to avoid painful accidents. Check! Note uploaded photo is correct, while product photo is not. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful Good basic rack mount power strip, August 30, 2010 This review is from: Tripp Lite RS1215-RA Power Strip Rackmount Metal 120V 5-15R Right Angle 12 Outlet 1U (Electronics) Most home electrical boxes are rated at 20 amp MAX for the entire circuit, so unless this is the only item on the line, why pay for the bigger units? My HTPC might draw 5 amps if EVERYTHING is turned on, but an extension cord on the floor is ugly.
