Hope by not spending a lot of money payed off here As I am no ele expert and I do wonder why some of these devices are so costly . 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful Awesome, March 25, 2012 This review is from: Progressive Industries SSP30 Smart Surge (Automotive) Your RV needs some sort of protection from power surges, mis-wired shore power, etc. This is basic protection at an affordable price. It's lighter than I thought it would be and would be nice if the leds were brighter on it, other than that its exactly what it says it is. I now have complete confidence wherever we plug in. UPDATE: After 6 months of continuous usage it still works great. We just purchased the EMS PT30C and couldn't be happier with both. I now use this and a 15 amp adapter to plug in our secondary a/c to help keep us cool on those hot Texas days. Great product!
